Tiffany, Sophie, and Nora McMillan pick up where Seymour Flayers left off in Book 1. This time they detail how to prepare your spirit for the dark days to come. You can store food guns and ammo, you can master the art of physical survival, but if you don't make preperations for your spirit, you may survive, but you'll never truly thrive in this life or what is to come.

There is more to surviving than just taking care of our physical needs, just as there are more parts to the Lord’s Prayer than asking for God to give us our Daily Bread. We have to feed the spirit as well, and to do that, is to be in touch with God as we pray for His Will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We ask God to forgive us as we forgive others who might try and take what we have. We pray to be delivered from evil, and kept from temptation which entices us to sin against others. Surviving in any time … whether pre or post apocalyptic takes faith in God, and understanding that we were created with a purpose. We are His beloved children and He wants us to have life abundant, be filled with joy and reflect His love to the world.

And He made it very simple for us to achieve all of this … through His son Jesus Christ who tells us, “I am the way, the truth and the life … no man can come to the Father but by me.” And God so loved the world that He gave His only son so that whoever believes in Him should have eternal life. So there it is … from God the Father and His Son Jesus.

It’s actually a lot easier to save the spirit than the body, and it is far more important in the long run. If only 10% of the population would survive a solar flare, that means physical survival is going to be very difficult … while spiritual survival is a free gift for anyone who asks.
